Overview: The Nutrition Backpack program provides 10+/- weekly backpacks filled with food (this number fluctuates throughout the year). Food is provided by the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Hudson Falls. Church members donate food and money to provide food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including fresh fruit, bread & a Stewarts milk card every week.

Where located in Kindergarten Center:  The hallway outside the Main Office

Days available:  Friday

Times available:  At the end of the school day on Fridays, the backpacks are placed on the bus for students that ride the bus home

Referral process:  At the beginning of the school year teachers are teachers and other staff are asked to refer student whom they feel may benefit from a weekend backpack of food. The parents are then called to review the program and see if they would be interested.
