Overview: The Care Center is a multi-purpose area to support students.
Julie Fahlmann
Performs IEP counseling
Provides crisis intervention
Bridges students and families to outside services
TCI Trainer and assists other team members as needed.
Lisa Hogan
Linkage to supports and services within the district and community
McKinney-Vento liaison for district families who are in temporarily housed due to loss of housing or economic hardship
Point of contact (including regular meetings) for Washington Co. DSS (PINS, CPS, Preventive, etc...)
Point of contact for Probation
Point of contact for CDPC North Clinic
Attendance Review Board (ARB)
In addition, The Care Center has numerous pamphlets of county programs and educational information for student and parents. They also accept and supply new and slightly used clothing to students in need.

For Julie Fahlmann: 8-2:30 between counseling sessions
For Lisa Hogan: 8:00-3:30, although she is frequently in meetings both in and out of the building
Referral process: The team does our very best to meet with students as needed however, there are often times we are all occupied with other students. They try to be very flexible in seeing students as they may have some social anxiety however, we are mindful of students who use the Care Center as a way to avoid going to class as well. If it is not a 911 emergency, typically it would be best to give their office a heads up if a student needs to be seen and give the student a pass

Teachers/staff can email, call or come to my office with concerns
Students can walk in or come with a faculty member
There are 5 lunch passes we expect students to use if they want to have lunch in the Care Center
For Lisa Hogan:
Preferably by appointment (email, stop by to make an appointment, have a teacher email, etc...)
"Walk-ins" are fine but availability is hit & miss.
Students/ families are welcome to call me as well ext. 4235
