In this podcast, Zainab asks the question, how do different generations react to slang words. Zainab interviews a series of adults with slang terms that teens use. She asks the adults what they think a word means. After their responses, she reveals the meaning. Maybe they will come to an understanding of why teens need to have a generational “hidden language”, well at least they’ll have fun along the way. This was inspired by an article about James Calahan in his glossary of slang terms with students.
