Course information

As part of this exciting course you will participate in both theory and practical tasks. There is a written and a practical exam, as well as a food investigation.


This course is not just cooking every week!


There is lots of scientific based theory.


Course Breakdown

50% Theory. Written exam

1hr 45 minutes

50% Practical exam and coursework. (assessment 1: 8 hours, assessment 2: 12 hours)

35% Practical exam and coursework (NEA2)


Is this course right for me?

Must love cooking and trying new things! Very valid life skill.

You MUST be willing to bring ingredients in for many different recipes. You will also need to purchase specialist equipment.
