Outdoor Movie Night

Outdoor Movie Night is a PTA sponsored event that is offered free of charge to the CLES community. The event takes place typically on Friday evening (6:30/7 pm - see newsletters for specific time) in October behind the school building. Occasionally it is held on a Thursday night if there is no school the next day. There is a large outdoor movie screen that is set up near the portables and attendees bring folding chairs/blankets to set up on the black top to view the movie. Prior to the showing of the film there is time to socialize and play at the playground and field with friends. The PTA offers free snacks for the event (similar to popcorn, water, chips, popsicles) and often glow sticks while supplies last. Some years there is an opportunity to pre-order and purchase dinner for your family at the event (similar to Chick-Fil-a sandwiches or pizza). If there is a planned pre-order dinner for the event, the pre-order form is sent home in your child's take home folder or through memberhub prior to the event. Near twilight the movie begins. The films that have been shown in the past include the Lego Batman Movie, and Hotel Transylvania 2. You can find out what this year's film and details of this year's event in the Dolphin Detail. In event of rain the event will be rescheduled or cancelled.
