Tuesday, November 6 is Election Day and a Noon Dismissal for PD. Our wonderful families with REP will be providing a chili bar for lunch at 12:00 pm. Parents who are interested in helping with this endeavor can sign up here.

Community Outreach

Our second Fall Anchor Night will be held on Thursday, November 8 from 6-8 pm. This event is designed to help parents navigate the waters of raising a teen. From 5-6 pm, as folks are entering the school for Anchor Night, they will also have the chance to view and vote on the Scarecrows submitted for Student Council’s Scarecrow Contest. If you have submitted a Scarecrow, please contact Mrs. Henry or Ms. Foster to let them know if you want to reclaim your submission. Otherwise, Student Council will dispose of them next week.

We are excited to enter the second decade of a terrific tradition here at Rugby. Our Eleventh Annual Veterans Day Luncheon will take place on Friday, November 9. Students have access to registration forms if they wish to invite a veteran. If your student wishes to host a veteran, please submit these forms to teachers or the front office by the end of the day on Wednesday, November 7.

As you are planning your family’s activities for the next couple of weeks, I hope you will consider joining the Rugby Players for their annual Fall Musical. These students and teachers have been working diligently to create an unforgettable rendition of Shrek, Jr. This year’s production will take place November 15, 16, and 17 at the WHHS auditorium. Show time is 7 pm. If you haven’t ever done so, treat yourself to this production and see some of the amazing talent of the RMS community!
