At Rugby, we honor the sacrifices of our veterans, and we are so honored with the awesome turnout for our Veterans Luncheon this past Friday. Remember that school is closed this coming Monday, November 12, 2018 in observance of Veterans Day

This coming week, your students will be bringing home score reports from the NC Check-In. These are state administered, incremental formative assessments that measure student attainment of learning targets. Help your student process these reports and charge them with taking personal responsibility for their learning.

As you are planning your family’s activities for the next couple of weeks, I hope you will consider joining the Rugby Players for their annual Fall Musical. These students and teachers have been working diligently to create an unforgettable rendition of Shrek, Jr. This year’s production will take place November 15, 16, and 17 at the WHHS auditorium. Show time is 7 pm. If you haven’t ever done so, treat yourself to this production and see some of the amazing talent of the RMS community!
