WOW! I hope lots of you folks were able to make it to The Rugby Players’ 20th Fall Musical, Shrek, Jr. The amount of preparation and talent present in this show was truly amazing. Please take the chance to let the involved students and staff know how proud we are of all of them and their production.

This school year, we have asked that teachers post content standards, learning targets/essential questions, and lesson agendas for each day. We hope that these things are being used to help our students understand where they stand in their learning and their progress within our classes. We are attempting to have our students begin to take greater ownership of their own learning. Use communication from your student’s teachers, NC Check-in Score Reports and grades from PowerSchool to help your student process his/her learning. If you have questions about any of these things, please reach out to the school-teachers, counselors, or administration.

As we head into the week set aside for sharing gratitude, I truly hope that we will all take the time to recharge and refocus on those most important things in our lives. Working at Rugby and serving this community is certainly among the things in life for which I am most grateful. I hope you all have a great break.

The RMS Craft Fair is a long-standing tradition that allows our community to come out to do some Christmas shopping while supporting the school. This year, the RMS Craft Fair will occur on Saturday, December 1, from 9:00-3:30. We hope you will join us!
