The webinar began at 9:08 p.m. The prayer was followed by the national anthem and the HCDC Mission-Vision Goals. The BSCA program chairperson, Sir Aljun Lozano, conducts the opening remarks and introduces the guest speaker.
The discussion begins with the requisite export documentation. The guest speaker gives us a quick overview of the necessary export documentation as well as permits and registration requirements. The guest speaker presented a BPI, SEC, BOI, and BIR company registration form, which comprises the firm name, address, owner, signatory approval, and personal certificate number. The next required document is the Export Permits, which are issued by PhilExport and DOF. The guest speaker also presented a BOC Certificate of Registration example. According to the guest speaker, in order for PhilExport to issue the COR, it must first register with the Philippine Exporters Confederation.
The Export Forms and Content section follows, with the Principal Export Document and Auxiliary Export Document as its content. The guest speaker then discusses the contents of the Principal Export Documents, which include the Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certification of Inspection, Shipping Instruction, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and Export Declaration. Also, on the substance of auxiliary export documents such as the Pro Forma Invoice, Inspection Form, Shipping Instruction, and Mates Receipt. The guest speaker stated that the reason why she separated the Principal and Auxiliary Document since the auxiliary export documents are required while preparing the principal export documents.
The guest speaker then discusses the submission of export declarations. She explored the CDEC-TRADE interface, importer profile interface, and the websites of the three service providers, namely E-konek, Intercommerce, and eTrade. Following the discussion, she demonstrated how to create an export declaration and stated that all necessary documents must be on hand. The guest speaker then demonstrated the export process, from obtaining certifications and permissions to submitting shipping documentation to BOC. The guest speaker then wraps up her presentation by displaying the flowchart for completing an export declaration.
