The webinar began at precisely 9 a.m. The prayer led by Sir Jhomie followed by the National Anthem and the HCDC Vision-Mission. Sir Jhomie then introduced the guest speaker Mr. John P. Matias. Mr. Matias began his discussion by presenting the agenda; the History about CCC and its purposes and functions. He then presented the reference of his discussion.
Customer Care Center (CCC) is a cutting-edge service facility that will provide answers to questions, general issues, and services that will centralize some papers for receiving and releasing. Furthermore, CCC serves as a one-stop shop at the port, acting as the focal point for all customs inquiries. Mr. Matias then went on to explain BOC-CCC Services, the scope of CCC, and the key areas in greater depth. After the discussion of its history the function and purposes BOC-CCC which are to establish a modernized customer service center. Promote transparency and ensure high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Outline duties and responsibilities of customs personnel. Provide mechanism to handle queries and concern. Lessen face-to-face transactions. Mr. Matias described the function of the BOC-CCC as well as the CCC's composition, which includes the head, assistant head, document receiving officer, releasing officer, distribution officer, client service specialist, national collecting officer, pass control officer, and other customs officers.
The last part of the discussion was about the CCC Support system and CCC Processes. CCC Support system Mr. Matias explained that the MISTG and CCC shall provide and maintain its service kiosk. CCC Process contains the CCC citizen charter that represents a systematic effort to focus on the bureau of customs' commitment to its stakeholders.
