8P4- Ada Fruit  

                                                                          Reflection

• Using the Ada Fruit, Make code Ada fruit which is the website, I created a code that has 4 different songs and a lot of lights The reason I created this code is because I thought it would look If I pressed a button or tiled the Ada fruit and it played a different song and each have different colored lights. Another reason why I made this is because It shows a lot of what the ada Fruit can do like if titled changes song. it doesn't show all of what it can do because the Ada Fruit can do a lot of things but it shows some of what it can do.

• During this process, I learned what an ada Fruit is because I did not know what it was before this project. I also learned how to use the Ada Fruit like how to make the code play on the Ada Fruit. Another way I learned during this process is how many thing an Ada Fruit can do. I didn't know how many thing an Ada fruit could do like all the different colors and how many things you can paly.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer. My project connects to Innovative designer is because I stayed on task while I was making my codes. Another reason Innovative Designer connects to my project is because if I made a mistake I would learn form that mistake.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was when I played the code it would make a loud noise over my code. It wouldn't stop so every time that happened I would have to restart the Ada fruit. I was able to do it by making sure all the codes were good. I also made sure that non were over lapping so it wouldn't play at the same time. Another challenge is I didn't know how to get the code to play I would press the button that would make the code play but it wouldn't play. To fix it I asked another student and he showed me that you had to restart it and download the code.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change difficulty of the code. The reason why I would change it is because the code was a little challenging because of how many codes there were and getting the songs right but I would like to challenge myself a little more than I did. I also would change the codes and do different songs and different ways to control the Ada Fruit like making it play a song when it gets flipped or something like that.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to Computer Programming because you are programming the Ada Fruit to do what you want it to. It also connects to Multimedia because you are doing something with lights.

• My project connects to careers in programming because you are programming the Ada Fruit to do what  you want it to do like change the colors or change the songs you are playing. It also connect with careers in coding the Ada Fruit to do what you want. Another thing my project connects to is multimedia. My project connects to mutimedia because you dealing with lights.
