You will need a tablet that has the apps Go, iRobot Coding, Shhero Play, and Sphero Edu. And the robots Sphero, Bolt, iRobot , and Dash.

We are going to make a ray of sunshine.

Some unique qualities are flashing lights and it will look like a ray of sunshine.

Learned about robots and started sphero. Finished sphero and started on bolt. Finished bolt started and finished dash.

Using a iPad and a PC, iRobot, Sphero, Bolt, and Dash those are just for robots. For apps I used Go, Sphero Play, iRobot Coding, and Sphero Edu. I created A party bomb using Bolt, Dash throwing a trier, iRobot spelling a 3 letter word, Sphero mini making shapes. During this process, I learned how to program the robots and how to code them how to make them move and a lot more.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because Computational Thinker means to practice complex skills and coding is a complex skill and robots can also be complex. My project also ties to Digital citizen because I did not put anything on my website that is harmful or disrespectful to others.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make Bolt jump but eventually I figured it out. I was able to do it by testing different ways. I eventually got it by putting a code on my code that said raw moter. Which that made the robot jump a few inches.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I used the robots. I would do that because I put 10 more ideas that I want to do and I only got to do one idea out of 10.I would also use 2 robots for one project. The reason why I would use 2 is I think it would be cool and unique to use 2 robots for one project. It would also be a good challenge to find something that 2 robots can do.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in robot programming and software engineer.
