Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by my self.
What materials will you need for your project?
Circuit, Heat Press, paper, cricut website, and the other computers.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I want to use the circuit and customize a hoodie..
What unique qualities will your project have?
I will have are farm name on it.
I worked on my list of 10 and my planning questions.
I am still trying to decide what to make. so I looked at other classes websites.
Today I decided how I was going to do for my project and what I would need to do to get my project done.
Today, I changed what I was going to put the design on at first it was a piece of wood now it is a hoodie using the circuit machine. I also looked at how to do videos.
Today I worked on my daily log and then looked at more how to videos I couldn't work on the design because the website was not working.
Today, I worked on logging into the website for cricut and started working on things to put on my sweat shirt right now I have 2 things to put on my sweatshirt.
Today I worked on updating my daily log and I also got a black sweatshirt so when I need it I can bring it to school.
Today I worked on more designs for my sweatshirt I have to get a lot done because I wasn't here Monday and didn't do much yesterday. I forgot to save my design so I have to make it again.
Today I started cutting out my design with the cricut and I made more designs to put on the sweatshirt.
Today I started cutting out a big design for the back.
I put my designs on my sweatshirt using the heat press. I worked on my reflection.
I finished my reflection.
This is the front.
This is the back.
Reflection
Using the heat press and the cricut, I created a sweat shirt with my family's farm name om it. I also put the years me and my siblings were born and I put a cow on the back. because I wanted t make something that meant something to me. I also wanted to make something with our farm name on it because I thought it would be cool.
During this process, I learned how to use the heat press which is pretty easy. I also learned how to use the cricut which is really fun and you can make a lot with it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I am using equipment that is in the classroom.
A challenge I overcame on this project was I put the vinyl on backwards so it cut backwards. I was able to do it by turning the sheet on vinyl around and cutting it on the same sheet.
Given a chance to do this again, I would put cow print or boots on the pocket of the hoodie. The reason why I would change it is because the pocket looks kind of empty.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School, because I was adding viynal. My project connects to careers in vehicle warp installer because you are putting vinyl on the car and I was dealing with vinyl.
