8P7- Sphero mini

Using a sphero mini and an iPad, I created a video with coding, because for this project I was tasked to code sphero mini's in a circle. I had to code them not to crash. I could use as many as I wanted. It was very difficult to code them. This is why I only coded three. 

During this process, I learned how to code sphero mini's. I also learned how to change the color. Lastly I learned how to pair one to my iPad. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because my project is being put on a website. This website is being shared to the world. This means anyone can view my website. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to connect two sphero mini's onto on iPad, I was able to do it by figuring out I had to use multiple iPad's. I asked other students to use their's. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of sphero mini's I used. The reason why I would change it is because If I could've figured out how to connect them. It would have saved me a lot of time trying to code. It would have been better and more detail would make my project look better. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in software developer because in this project I coded. In this job you have to code a little bit to make software. That's what I did in my video, (I codded then made a video).
