7P5- 3D Design

Reference sheet 

• Using Tinker CAD and a 3D printer. I created, a 3D design project, because. I wanted to learn how to make a 3D design. I also needed to learn how to make a good project. I needed to do this because it would be going onto my website. Which the whole world can view. 

• During this process, I learned How to make a character from scratch. I also learned how to make my own objects. Lastly I learned how to group objects together. One more thing I learned was how to copy and paste objects together. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because my website is being shared to the world. I'm putting my 3d prints onto the website. The world can view my website. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was, running out of ideas on what to make. I was able to do it by using my time wisely. Also I worked on the questions. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of detail I used. I would also make it more complicated. The reason why I would change it is because, My project was very simple. It didn't look that great, but it did stand out.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in 3D Engineering because all the people have to com up with designs. Then they have to see how they would look. Lastly they have to print their designs in the world. They can also see how to do somthing and how a idea would work before printing it.
