8P4-Cardboard

I am working by myself.  

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need, hot glue, iPad, cardboard, and markers. 

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to create a subway surfers game. 

What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will have a functioning game and funny characters. 

• Using cardboard, imotion, and imovie, I created subway surfer's board game and video, because for this project we had to create something out of cardboard. Me and my group decided to create a stop motion movie with a subway game board. I also made a video because I wanted to show the cardboard creation in motion/working. 

• During this process, I learned how to use a tripod. I used a tripod to hold our iPad up. We also used the tripod to make our video since it had to be still.  

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because my project is going onto my website. My website is being shared to the entire world. Anyone can see my project and how my team and I created our project. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was not creating our video in time. I was able to do it by working really hard, there was a lot of distractions while making our video. The day before our project was due another group was using the green screen area. This took up a lot of time to create our video. I still had to edit the video also. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how my video looked. The reason why I would change it is because our video was very sloppy. If I would have had more time to edit. The video would have been a lot better. I could've added more detail. 

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. I chose Engineering Design CTE program because I designed our creation and used building materials to construct my project.  

• My project connects to careers in 2D animator because for this project we created a stop motion video of a video game. I had to edit the stop motion to make it look nice. In this job you have to edit a video.
