Using a computer and adafruit  , I created a noise detector, color exclusion a clap light, I made the noise detector because I wanted to see how loud the class was during that time. I made the color explosion because I made a fire work on the micro bit so I wanted to make a new version with adafruit. I made the clap light because when I was little I really wanted one but never asked my parents, so when I got the idea I new I had to make it.

During this process, I learned how to make a noise detector with adafruit. I also learned to code music to the adafruit to make it play with the action. One last thing I learned during this process is that you have to stay on task and ignore all distractions even if that distraction was your friend stay on task and get it done. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I had to design a code to make the adafruit do something. Then after that I had to innovate the designed code to make it better.

A challenge I overcame on this project was blocking out all of the distractions. I was able to do it by first telling him to leave me alone and stop coming over to me. Second, I would completely ignore everyone including the teacher a little bit so I could focus on my work in front of me.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the items I did and the amount of sound. The reason why I would change the items is because I want a challenge and I don't want to do the exact same thing again. The reason I would change the amount of noise is because it would be one more thing bringing the whole project together and over all make it better.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. It would connect to this because I had to program a code to make the adafruit work. I also used a computer to program the code 

My project connects to careers in coding because we coded and made it do what I wanted it to do what we want it to. Next, it also connects from the point that we had to create code lines for all of our things to make them function correctly. One more reason my project connects to coding is that this hole project was coding so It directly connects to jobs with coding.
