Day 4:
I continued to work on my hex-bit screwdriver. I have completed this 3D-Design.
This is my final day working, do to unfinished work on my last project. But here are the final designs of the box project.
Day 6: I have chosen to do the Hexbit Screwdriver design.
Reflection:
Using a computer 3-D Printer and filament , I created a small hex-bit screwdriver . I did this because I have hex-bits but I do not have a screwdriver for them. This is the problem I am solving.
During this process, I learned more knowledge on the software Tinkercad. Including how to change the snap grid size if you want one at all. And I also learned that there are more options for things you can add to your project like drawing.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I had little knowledge on how to use the software called Tinkercad entering this project. But now coming out of the project I have a pretty good understanding of how it works.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not having much time to work. I was able to do it by for the little time I had really fully focusing and giving it as much as I could.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size. The reason why I would change it is because it was too small. The hex-bits don't fit properly. And the top thing snapped apart and got lost.
