Using TinkerCAD and a 3D Printer, I created a blimp because People need toys. This blimp will allow people to have fun so they are not bored. The blimp has a hook so you can hang it up in your room.

During this process, I learned how to 3d print. I also learned how to put a thumb drive into a 3d printer and print from the thumb drive. I also learned how to use TinkerCAD to make a design.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational thinker because I solved the bordem problem I had. I needed something fun to do, so I made myself a blimp to play with.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing what to do. I was able to do it by watching the videos provided on mrrenner.com. Also, I asked around and figured out how to do it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my entire design. The reason why I would change it is because I believe I could have solved a worse problem. My design only solves one problem I would remake it to solve multiple problems at once.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School. Because I had to construct a design to solve a problem that would help people.

My project connects to careers in 3d cad modeling because I modeled a design in a CAD software that just so happens to be 3d. I had to design the model in TinkerCAD and print it in 3d. I also had to take the design out and make sure the details were still visible.
