Mr. Renner's "shusher" with teeth
Using TinkerCad and a 3D printer, I created fake teeth and dentures because it sounded fun. I enjoyed this project because it was fun to build and size the teeth and make it so they fit in the wholes. However, It was slightly difficult to get the sections of the teeth aligned properly.
During this process, I learned how to use TinkerCad to match the teeth to fit in the dentures. The easiest part of my project was building the dentures. The hardest part of my project was making sure the teeth were even and neat.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made an original design. I enjoyed making this and am very proud of the final project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having 4 teeth get messed up. I was able to do it by re-printing the teeth. I did this because it was the only solution.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fit of teeth in the holes. The reason why I would change it is that the teeth are too big for the holes. I would change this by making the holes a little bigger.
