My List of 10
Good Ideas
1.Have the robot draw a picture
2.Have the robot pick up a lego
3.Have the robot race another robot
4.Have the sphere robot shoot itself into a basketball hoop
5.Have the robot make itself into a soccer goal
6.Have the robot solve a math equation
7.Have the dash act like an animal
8.Make it go through a maze
9.Use slingshot feature to make the sphereo mini run into another
10.Make a sphereo mini look like fire and have a dash act like a firetruck to put it out
I am working by myself
I will need robots and an Ipad to code and record
I will do the 4 challenges, then I will do my own challenge
In the end, I will have created my own challenge
Day 1: Working on List of ten.
Day 2: Working on List of ten.
Day 3: I worked with sphereo mini.
Day 4: I started to learn the irobot.
Day 5: I was able to write the word "hat" with the irobot and make the bolt party bomb.
Day 6: I made the dash throw a tire and recorded it .
Day 7: I made the dash make a soccer goal with a tire.
Day 8: I worked on my website.
Day 9: I worked on my website.
Day 10: I worked on my website.
Day 11: I did my final project.

Using the iRobot and app, I created code to make the robot write "hat" because it was part of the assignment. Using the Dash and app, I created code to make the robot throw a tire because it was part of the assignment. Using the sphero mini and app, I created code to make the robot drive in a square and rectangle because it was part of the assignment. Using the Bolt and app, I created a party bomb because it was part of the assignment. Using the Dash and app, I created a Dash acting like an animal because I like animals.
During this process, I learned that you should always fully read instructions. I also learned that stuff can be very difficult but if you keep trying, you can do it. The hardest part of this project was writing the word.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I kept trying. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I am sharing my project online.
A challenge I overcame on this project was I really struggled with the iRobot. I was able to do it by using my resources on the app. A challenge I overcame on this project was I didn't use code for my dash at first. I was able to do it by redoing and recording.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the word I wrote. The reason why I would change it is because I used a fairly simple word. Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much time I spent on the iRobot. The reason why I would change it is because I would have had much more time.
