I am working by myself
I will need a Merge Cube and CoSpaces
My plan is to make the cube have a Medevial
It will be coming out of the merge cube in a story
Day 1: I did my list of 10 and planning questions
Day 2: I planned my scenes and started to build the cave
Day 3: I started to make my first 2 scenes and code the wolves
Day 4: I did scene 3, scene 4, and started scene 5
Day 5: I finished scene 5, made scene 6, and recorded my video
Day 6: I did my recording and did my reflection
Using CoSpaces and a merge cube, I created the story of a wolf cub whose mom got attacked by a bear and the cub got lost in the forest and ended up being raised by gorillas because it reminded me a lot of the movie Jungle Book. I also thought that it could sort of show different animal species (or in the real world, races) can get along and live together. The most challenging part of this project was figuring out how to code everything to move how I wanted.
During this process, I learned that using code, you can make fun interactive stories. I also learned that you can always change your ideas. Sometimes, you will have problems with your ideas and will have to improvise.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I used this project to communicate about a real-world problem. It also ties to Global Collaborator because it is being shared to the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was CoSpaces didn't have a cheetah(my original idea). I was able to do this by changing the animal from cheetah to wolf. I also overcame that I took a lot of time on the first scene but made sure I worked really hard to finish in time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much time I spent on the cave. The reason why I would change it is because I would have liked more time for coding and storyline. I would change this by changing the animal and where it lives.
