8P1 Video Project

Using an IPad, Microphone, and copyright-free images, I created a video about me so people who view my site can learn about me. I enjoyed this project because it was nice to create a video about myself.  However, I did not enjoy doing the voiceover.

During this process, I learned how to find copyright-free images. The easiest part of my project was finding photos to use. The hardest part of my project was doing my voiceover.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I learned how to find images without copyright.

A challenge I overcame on this project was deciding what to share. I was able to do it by choosing some simple information about myself. I did this because it was digitally safe.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the voiceover. The reason why I would change it is because I was sick when I did my voiceover. I would change this by doing the voiceover when I was not sick.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in movie production.
