8P10 - Passion Project

Using a board, cnc machine, and paint, I made a sign for my front door because I thought it'd be cool. I enjoyed this project because it was fun to put more effort and make a really cool project.  However, It was slightly difficult to paint in the crevasses.

During this process, I learned how to mix paint to create a specifc color. The easiest part of my project was cutting and designing. The hardest part of my project was painting the words and designs.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I came up with an original idea. I feel very happy with my final product because it was a lot of fun.

A challenge I overcame on this project was I struggled the get the paint in the crevasses. I was able to do it by using a thin brush. I did this because the brush could get in the crevasses.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the colors. The reason why I would change it is the colors are very cool but I would love to experiment. I would change this by painting differently.
