The seven standards in Mr. Renners classroom are
1:Empowered Learner: Empowered learners don't just know content. They have high self-efficacy, a positive learner identity, emotional intelligence, social awareness and the skills and know-how to take on worthy goals and challenges. Essentially, they know how to learn and what to do when they don't know what to do.
3 : Knowledge Constructor : Knowledge constructors collaborate with a teacher to employ appropriate research techniques to locate digital resources that will help them in their learning process. ... Using a variety of strategies, knowledge constructors organize information and make meaningful connections between resources.
4: Innovative Designer: Design innovation is the process of innovating in a field that is traditionally considered design such as graphic design, product design and user experience design. The term is also applied to the use of design and design thinking to innovative in areas such as engineering, software development and business operations
5: Computational Thinker:Computational thinking refers to the thought processes involved in expressing solutions as computational steps or algorithms that can be carried out by a computer.
6: Creative Communicator: recognize and utilize the features and functions of variety of creation or communication tools.
7: Global Collaborator: I can use my tools to learn how to collaborate with my team and others.
