day 1: On day 1 I planned on what I was going to make and how i was gonna make it
day 2: On day 2 I worked on finding good and sturdy and made an outline/ base for my project.
day 3: on day 3 I worked on hot gluing everything into place and adding some exciting pieces
day 4: on day 4 I picked out paint colors for the project and used grey, black, white/tan, blue, and brown.
day 5: I finished with the painting and took final pictures and videos and added them to the website.
Using cardboard I created a cardboard skate park because it looked fun to make and there was very good cardboard to make a specific skate-park.
During this process, I learned that cardboard is sometimes hard to fold/curve to make specific things.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because i took cardboard and expressed how i felt about making something out of cardboard and used my imagination to create it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was curving the cardboard to make the half pipe look like an actual half pipe. I was able to do it by making a bridge thingy to keep the half pipe stable.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the colors i painted it and how small the overall project was. The reason why I would change it is because the colors were too boring and bland.

The image carousel contains pictures of the cardboard project being worked on. The first picture is with most of the creation painted but not all of it. The second picture contains what the front view looks like, the half pipe is painted blue and so is the bar to grind on. The ground was painted greyish-black and the back wall that the half pipe is on is painted black with some white splatters of paint. The 3rd picture shows the bottom which has the 8P-3 and Preston and I's name on it. The 4th picture is just a random picture. The 5th picture is a view of what the project looks like while we were working on it.
In the second image carousel, the first pictures is Preston working on painting the deck thingy brown. in the second picture, is a picture of myself painting the same thing as Preston but the second coat. The third picture is also me painting again. The fourth picture is a pic of the paint still wet but almost done. The fifth picture is a picture that has some of the brushes and paints we used on the project. The sixth picture is Preston adding finishing touches to the deck ramp.
The image carousel to the left includes all of the pictures of the project once it was fully finished. so that means the half pipe is painted and so is everything else!
This video contains all the pictures of my cardboard project I hope you enjoy!
