Using Cardboard I created a robot because I thought it would be a challenging thing to make, and with the group I joined i thought it would be a great group project.
During this process, I learned that cardboard can be hard to work with but if you out all the effort needed in it will get easier and you will get the hang of it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because we had to use cardboard to create a cardboard design so we had to diy (do it yourself) cardboard basically to make the project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the fairy lights to work. I was able to do it by using lots of duck tape to taped it down to the box so it had a weight to keep the lights on.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way we made the robot and how we made everything out of order so it kinds looked bad but yes.
The reason why I would change it is because when we just made it out of order it didn't really look good but it is what it is.
