Me and my partner were thinking what to make and we created our buttons
We completed our website and looked over what we made
These are the buttons that me and my partner made. Overall, this was a very short project.
Using a button press, I created buttons of my choice because I thought making our own custom buttons would be fun. I chose projects that were just making and showing what I learned but this project was for laughs and just having fun in general. Me and my partner enjoyed this project because the buttons we made we could keep after the project.
During this process, I learned how to use a button press and to make buttons. I had fun learning to make the buttons and the instructions were confusing at first but when me and my partner got a closer look we saw that the instructs were showing exactly what part of the button press we need out and to put the parts were the parts go. Once you learn where to put the parts and the steps to make the buttons its really easy to make them and its also really fun.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I gained knowledge on the machinne or press I was using to create the buttons. I didnt know how to use the press or how to make the buttons but when I learned it was easy to make them.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to use the button press. I was able to do it by finding the instructions nearby and reading them until I understood them. I accidently bent one of the parts to the button because I accidently used the press wrong and put the button part in the wrong place.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I put in the button and how many I made. The reason why I would change it is because I could've done more buttons and other really funny ones I wanted to do. I only did four but when I realized how easy it is to make the buttons I should've done more because it takes about 40 seconds for a button.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. I had to get a idea of pictures I want on my buttons and learn to use the machine to make the buttons.
My project connects to careers in Research engineer because I had to research the tool I was gonna use then properly use it for its purpose. I did some research on what I'm suppose to do, I didn't know how I would get the photos out on a piece of paper but I just realized I had to put it on a google doc and print it out. I also had to design part off the button like the pictures that I put into the buttons and where I wanted them to be in the button.
