On day 1 I started to find photos about things I like and did during summer for my movie. On day 2 I started to put in my audio files and edited my video. Day 3 I imported my video to my computer and finished my project.

Using I-movie, I created a movie about what I liked and got over the summer because, I really liked what I got over the summer and what I did. I really enjoyed making this project because it was really easy to make and it was also really fun. I also used what I knew to make this movie into something I enjoyed.
During this process, I learned to help my peers around me when they needed help. I also learned to really search in the web for the right pictures that you want. Another thing I learned was to be patient and just get your work done so you can be ahead and don't have to worry about getting work late.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Leaner because I used my good skill in technology to use my I-pad and computer well and to get work done. I also knew what to do and what to use for my movie.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to remember what I did to import my movie from my I-pad to my computer. I was able to do it by asking for help and trying to figure out things on my own. Another challenge I encountered was trying to find the right audios for my movie.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what audios I did because I could've added more audios to my movie. The reason why I would change it is because there's only music and my voice in it so my movie could sound more real. I also could've added more pictures for a longer movie instead of it being 34 seconds long.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital/Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in film editing because I made a film for my assignment. It can also connect to Film crew in careers because I was the editor and Film crew when making my movie. I worked hard to try to find the right things for my movie so it could also go into Director career. And Computer Programming/Programmer for me trying to get audios in my movie.
