8p10-Micro bit

Using Microsoft micro bit , I created a random dice generator, a rock paper scissors game, stopwatch, and a nice message. I did this because I wanted to create an advanced project for me to do, because I only have two weeks left of school. Another reason I did this is because I didn't do the micro bit all year, so I wanted to do it before the year ends.

During this process, I learned how to make a stopwatch with a micro bit. I also learned how to download the file your working on and send it to the micro bit. Another thing I learned was how to get to my code editor, so I can code my projects.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I set a goal of doing 4 mini projects for my overall project. Also because I used technology to seek feedback with my project

A challenge I overcame on this project was sending the program to the micro bit. I was able to do it by asking my teacher for help. I had to download the file. Then press end to, then right click on the file you want to send, and send to micro bit D.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change doing the stopwatch. The reason why I would change it is because it didn't work very well. I would also change it because I want something that is cooler than a stopwatch.
