myself

cardboard

roller coaster out of card board
What unique qualities will your project have?
loop and beyond vertical drop
Using cardboard, I created a roller coaster because when I grow up I want to build roller coasters for a living.
During this process, I learned how to manipulate cardboard to make turns and a loop.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I posted my work on a web page for everyone to see.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making a turn with the card board. I was able to do it by crunching up the cardboard before making a turn so it will turn easier.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the length of the coaster. The reason why I would change it is because I didnt have enough time to make it longer.

My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers inbuilding roller coasters because I built a roller coaster the only difference being that I made it small and out of cardboard.
