8p6- stop motion

Using hot wheels and a ipad, I created a stop motiuon animantion because I like making them and I like hot wheels. As a kid I played with hot wheels a lot and me and my brother played this game where we would drive the hot wheels into each other to try to knock them over. So I used hot wheels for my animation.

During this process, I learned how to make stop motion animations. I also learned how to use hot wheels on the track and make them upside down long enough to take a picture. That was very difficult to do but we figured it out later

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because I posted my work on a website for everyone to see. This is helpful because if i want to get a job at stop motion they can see i have prior experience.

A challenge I overcame on this project was gettingk a picture of a car mid loop. I was able to do it by putting tape on the bottom of the car and attaching it to the track. This idea worked wonders and I wouldnt have thought about it and wouldnt have a solution to the problem but Liam figured it out.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the videos length. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted it to be longer but with the time we had and the amount of time it would take to get another 1 minute and 30 seconds to make it 3 minutes would be another couple of days.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  This is because I posted my work to a public website for anyone who wants to see what ive done in 7th to 8th grade. Also if a job recruiter wants to see this they can and they can see and they can see what ive done which can show them I can perrservere and get stuff in by the deadline and also see my previous experience. 

My project connects to careers in being a stop motion animator because I made a stop motion animation in this project. Making the stop motion animation was fun because I got to make hot wheels tracks and figured out how to make some scenes that was hard to make but fun in the end and rewarding.
