What unique qualities will your project have? a lot of difficulty, it will be long, it will have obstacles that might make you fall
Using cospaces, I created a VR world because it is a great learning opportunity to learn how to make VR games for a potential career in the future.
During this process, I learned how to make a VR game using cospaces and how to navigate through cospaces to make an enjoyable game.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative design because I designed an original VR game only using my thoughts and ideas.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the game difficult even though there was no jump button I was able to do it by making obstacles that got the player close to the edge so if they made a wrong move they would fall.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the physics of the giant penguins that bounce around so they aren't as annoying. I would change it because sometimes the penguins would make the game super laggy, especially when you load in at the beginning.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to digital multimedia because I used technology to make a digital VR game like no other CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in being an extended reality specialist.
DAY ONE: I MADE SOMETHING THAT I DIDNT LKE AFTER SO I STARTED OVER
DAY TWO: I made something i liked more and added the ramp so tomorrow i can add the obstacles
DAY THREE: I made my vr world better and made it more dificult
DAY FOUR: I added some finishing touches and played my vr world
DAY 5: I continued to add finishing touches and stuff to spice up the gameplay
day 6: I mainly just worked on putting stuff on my website because I'm done with my VR world unless I think of something I can add to it later
day 7: I PLAYED MY VR GAME AGAIN TO MAKE THE VIDEO
