Using cospaces, I created vr world that calms people down because when I grow up I want to be a therapist. The reason I want to be a therapist is because everyone has there own problems and they need to talk to someone to help overcome there problems. I think it would be very rewarding being able to do what I want to do and knowing im helping people in the process.
During this process, I learned what calms people down and how I can make a room calm people down. It was suprisingly pretty easy to make the room and make sure it could calm people down so that was very nice and not stressful. That is what I learned from doing this project
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator. This is because I posted my work to a public website for anyone who wants to see what ive done in this class. Also if a job recruiter wants to see this they can and they can see and they can see what ive done which can show them I can perservere and get stuff in by the deadline and also see my previous experience to the stuff in the field of work.
A challenge I overcame on this project was researching what makes people calm down. I was able to do it by going onto websites and looking at all the stuff it says and tried to replicate that in the vr world. This was hard because I didnt know at all what calmed people down and how to replecate it in a room with minimal experience of the field of work.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the layout of the room. The reason why I would change it is because the room is very empty and kinda boring but calming indeed. This would help make the room feel more natural and make my work look better.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because I made a game and posted my work for everyone to see. this is why my cte connection is digital multimedia.
My project connects to careers in therapy because I made something to calm people down and they do the same thing. I want to be a therapist because I want to help people with there metal health problems because I relized that everyone has their own problems and I want to help people with it. This is the entire reason I did this project because when I grow up I want to help people with their problems and stuff.
