8p4- cardboard project 2

• Using cardboard, I created a truck because trucks are my favorite type of cars.

• During this process, I learned how to make something out of nothing.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I made something that helps prevent littering.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was keeping the truck together. I was able to do it by getting more hot glue.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the wheels. The reason why I would change it is because I want to make them spin.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in packiging production because I made something out of what used to be a packeging.
