• Using an I pad and I movie, I created a video about my interests because I wanted people to know what I like. Its important for people to know about me as a person and my interests so they can know my likes to see if they relate to me at all. Making videos in this class is always my favorite because it's such a vibe and very chill and easy to make.

• During this process, I learned how to make better videos. Its fun to use I movie because you can do basically anything and its fun to watch my old videos to see how much my videos have improved from first learning how to use I movie in 7th grade. I movie is a fun learning tool that I'm glad to have the opportunity to use it because I don't have any apple products at my home.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I avoided copyright using the creative commons tab in google and I posted my video on my website for everyone to see. I also made sure to add family friendly material to add to my digital footprint in a positive way. Adding to my digital footprint in a positive way can help me get a job because the job recruiter can look me up and see what I've done in this class to show experience if i choose to go down this job path of making or editing videos.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the voiceovers to pick up my voice because of the noise level in the room. I was able to do it by asking the people I was sitting by to quiet down. My voice overs were still no the best because my voice was quiet in the videos and there were still people who were loud. I got the people I was sitting close to to quiet down but the other people in the class were really loud so they overpowered my voice so I had to speak louder,

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the voiceovers because they still don't sound the best they could. The reason why I would change it is because it is still hard to hear me at times. I would also change the voice over for the transformers part of the video because it wasn't as professional as I would like it to be. If I had the chance to do either of these I would choose to change the voiceovers of the overall videos because in my opinion the quietness of my voice brings down the overall quality of the video.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to digital multimedia because I made and edited a video just like they do in the digital multimedia CTE program at hastings high school. Digital multimedia means you make or edit videos or make content for the world to see.

• My project connects to careers in video editing because I made and edited a video using I movie. I made a video and edited the video by myself like a video editor would by using the tools at my disposal to make the best video I could while only being limited to using an Ipad and the internet. Video editing is something that I might actually want to make into a job so doing this project was very helpful for me to learn how video editing works and the process to making videos for the world to see.
