Using co spaces, I created a maze vr game because I always liked mazes and it brings back memeorys of when I was a dinner and there was that maze on the kids meals and I always did them and they were always so easy. So in this project I wanted to tap in to my younger self and make a maze. This is why I made my game a maze.

During this process, I learned How to code using co blocks. This was one of the most important parts because of the thing I coded Was the glass walls and christmas cabin that allows you to change levels and more importantly the alligators. The alligators were very difficult to code but fun in the end but ill go more in depth later.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital citizen because I posted my work to my website for everyone to see. Being a good digital citizen is important because if you're trying to apply for a job some jobs run a background check on what your digital presence is. They will check what you post on social media and they sometimes google you so this is very important to do because if im trying to get a job that connects to this project they can see I at least have experience doing this

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to get the aligators to follow you. I was able to do it by looking at tutorials on youtube. This was very hard becuse i have little experience coding and even with the dumbed down version of co blocks I couldn't figure some stuff out. But when things get tough remember to perservere and work through those challenges.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the layout of the first level. The reason why I would change it is because it is vey easy to find the exit because I needed it to be a fast level so it would fit in a moderatly short video. If I could Id make the end be on the opposite corner of the one its already on. This would add a lot of time on the game. If I could id also add more dead ends.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  This is because I made a web page dedicated to my project that highlights the entire project and everyone can see it. Its important to post my work to a public website because if im trying to get a job in the field it shows I have experience in this field of work.

My project connects to careers in being a vr game developer/ programmer because I made a vr game that works and has levels and I programmed the alligators to follow the player. Doing this was very fun and taught me a lot about both making a game and programming with coding blocks because doing it with a java script will always confuse me. This project is definitley my favorite and I always watned to either be a engineer or be a vr game developer so this project is helping me acheive that goal.
