8P8-Micro Bit

For my project 8 I plan to use a micro bit myself to create something, most likely symbols. My project will need a micro bit to code, the micro it website, and a computer. A unique quality my project will have is that I have to make a symbol or something

Using micro bit, I created a music note out of the led lights because I wanted to mess with the micro bits and maybe make a cool symbol from start wars in the future.

During this process, I learned how to code micro bits and use them to create signs and more.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I had to code my micro bit and make something out of the LED lights.

A challenge I overcame on this project was relearning how to use the micro bits. I was able to do it by asking a friend if they could help me get started and then I was on my way.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change change what I did with the micro bit. The reason why I would change it is because I think next time I can make something a lot cooler.

My project connects to the computer CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in video game design.
