8P11-Green Screen

For my 11th and final project I decided to make a video with Sebastian. All we need for this project is an iPad, green screen, quietness, and limited distractions. A unique quality our project has is that it is us in the video and it was our video idea.

Using a green screen, Sebastian created a video with the background being because we wanted to do something with a greenscreen and do something cool for our last project.

During this process, I learned how to use a green screen and pull an idea into a video.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because we used the green screen technology to reach our goal of making a video.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not really knowing a lot about the green scree. I was able to do it by trying a bunch of different things. Another challenge was distractions. Some people kept on coming into the room and distracting us so we couldn't get anything done. We over came this by blocking the way in and taping the video.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what we did with the green screen. The reason why I would change it is because there are so many different things you can do with a green screen.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering design or even the marketing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in video editor or an ad job.
