8P7-Makey Makey

For this project, my partner and I are going to be using a makey makey. For this project we will be needing a makey makey, the wires, aluminum foil, and other things that are to be decided.

Using makey makey, we created controls for a computer game because we wanted to do something with a makey makey.

During this process, I learned to use makey makey with some foil to make custom controls for a game.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because we had to use the wires and design how we were going to use the makey makey.

A challenge I overcame on this project was I wasn't there for the whole time because I was sick. I was able to do it by communicating with my partner.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what we did with the makey makey. The reason why I would change it is because then we could play minecraft with bananas.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers with electrical wires and stuff.
