For my 10th project I plan to code a sphero. All I need for this project is a sphero and an iPad to code it. A unique quality of my project is the fact that I coded it myself.
Using Sphero, I created a code that allows the sphero to make a pentagon shape because I've wanted to do a project with sphero and now I decided to do it.
During this process, I relearned how to use the sphero and code it to move.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I used the sphero and coded it because I wanted to relearn how to use them and that was my goal and I reached my goal.
A challenge I overcame on this project was deciding what to create. I was able to do it by looking through some options and picked one. Another challenge
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I coded the sphero to do. The reason why I would change it is because I think I could do something cooler like have it run through a maze.
