8P4-Bloxels

For my fourth project I plan to create a game by my self using Bloxels. For this project I will need Bloxels and an iPad with the Bloxels app. A unique quality that my project has is than it is a level of a game that I created with my own imagination.

Using Bloxels, I created my own Star Wars game because I wanted to use Bloxels for my fourth project and I think the Bloxels are cool games. My level is in Ewok village and you are Chewbacca fighting the Empire. In my level you encounter scout troopers, a scout trooper on a seeder bike, storm troopers, and an officer. You (Chewbacca) are armed with a blaster and some thermal detonator's.

During this process, I learned what color were what entity and how to use the board to create a level of a game. I also had to relearn how to use the Bloxels in the first place.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because the level I created was from my own imagination.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what blocks should go where and what the story should be. I was able to do it by trying out a bunch of positions with the blocks and looking at all the story choices and then deciding which is the best one.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the team I was on and the level. The reason why I would change it is because I want to try both teams and make a new level to go with the team.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in design like a building designer.
