For my fifth project I plan to make a 3d model of a pokemon named Porygon-Z by my self. For this project I need a 3d printer and a picture of Porygon-Z. A unique quality that my project has is that I created it and that I needed to add a part on.
Using a 3D printer, I created the pokemon Porygon-Z because I wanted to make a 3d model of a Pokemon I like. The Porygon had a oval body and a circular head. and he has two arms and a little leg he hovers with.
During this process, I learned how to design a 3d model of a 2d picture because I only had my pokemon card and I've never seen the show.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I created a 3d model of a 2d card and had to design the model based off my imagination and what I can see of the pokemon.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the size. I was able to do it by looking at all the possible sizes and picking the best one. I also had to figure out how I was going to design the Porygon.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the pokemon I created. The reason why I would change it is because I would like a bunch of different 3d pokemon and maybe do a little movie of them fighting.
