My reflection:

• Using iMovie, I created  a podcast because it is march madness and I wanted to make a podcast about who we think will win. Also because I thought a podcast would be fun to do about basketball. Another reason is because I have always wanted to do a podcast in here but never have.

• During this process, I learned how to get the microphone to work. Also learned how to make a perfect script on what to say. Another reason is how to put the background on the green screen.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I stuck to the same project the entire time. Also because I talked about something that is actually happening right now.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to find a microphone that worked. I was able to do it by going through every microphone in the room till it worked. Also getting the microphone to the right intensity of sound to work.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how far I put the camera from the green screen. The reason why I would change it is because there was extra stuff on the side of the green screen. Also because the picture doesn't cover the whole screen.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  I think it connects to Digital Multimedia more than the other CTE because I created my own video about March Madness.

• My project connects to careers in video editing because I made and edited a video. Jobs that tie with video editing are advertising, YouTube editor, and music video editing. Those all tie with video editing because they all involve editing a video.
