A holder for pencils and pens

A cool design on the sides of the holder

• Using tinkercad, I created a pencil holder because so I can hold my stuff like pencils and other stuff in it. Aldo it can go on my kitchen counter. Another reason is my dad could use it to hold his stuff for work

• During this process, I learned how to code in tinkercad. Also is I learned how to adjust the shape. Another thing I learned how to do is make the shape a certain hight

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I learned how to do some thing that I had no clue how to do. Another reason is that I had to look up stuff to help me do it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to do it. I was able to do it by going on youtube and finding tutorials on how to do it. Als I did it by asking people around the room for help

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change maybe making something else .The reason why I would change it is because you can make a lot of better things. Also there is stuff that will be more helpful for our house.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in engineering design such as drafting technician, CAD drafter, CAD designer.
