Reflection

• Using iMac, circuit, iPad, vinyl,  and transfer tape, I created a jack o lantern sticker. The reason I created this is  because I though it would be a good design since Halloween was coming up. Another reason was I wanted to better my knowledge on the Cricut.

• During this process, I learned how to make my vinyl into a sticker. I also learned how to more than one color in my sticker. Another thing I learn how to use the cricut in different ways. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner. The reason why I think this is because I was able to set a goal to finish it in short time but still have good work and I achieved it. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was I put the wrong color vinyl on the transfer tape before the right one. I was able to do it by taking off the wrong color and placing the right one on first. Another problem I had was being able to use the Imac since they were only two and they were both being used. I was able to do other things for my project while I wait for the iMac to be free. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design. The reason why I would change it is because it was kind of late and Halloween was coming. It also didn't really look good and I could make it better. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in  sticker making.
