Reflection
Using Microbit, My iPad, and Microbit website I created name tag, a name tag with a secret message, flappy duck, smiley face, smiley face with text, and a 25 sided dice. I made these because they were the codes that I had the most interest in. I also I had extra time to make some.
During this process, I learned that coding isn't as hard as I thought it would be. I also learned your code might not work out like you thought it would be. Like the snap the dot code I did I finished it but it didn't work like I wanted it too.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I set a goal to make more than 5 projects and I achieved it. My project also ties to Digital citizen because when I made my name tag I made sure not to put my last name.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing what codes to do. I was able to do it by doing different tutorials. I also overcame not knowing how to download my code to my Microbit. I did this by someone helping me connect my micro bit to my computer.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of my codes. The reason why I would change it is because I think I could do some better codes. I would also change my amount of codes I did by making more and focusing more.
