7P1- Video Project

Daily log

Day 1.  Today I  started my website by making my home page.

Day 2.  I started my design thinking page.

Day 3. I finished my design thinking page, and started my class standards page. 

Day 4. I  started my  video  7p1 page.

Day 5. Started my video and got photos.

Day 6. Made my video  and finished it and put it in my drive.

Day 7. Started my Reflection.

Reflection

• Using iMovie, google, and the iPad I created a video project about the things I like, because I wanted people to know what I like. Also it was the idea I liked the most. I also wanted some kids in my class to get to know me.

• During this process, I learned how to make a video with a voice over and pictures.  I also learned how to make a good video. I learned to put it on my drive as well.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner  because  I set a goal to finish before Monday and I achieved it.  It also ties to Digital Citizen cause I made sure that what I put on my website would keep me safe.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was how to add  the right things to my video. I was able to do it by asking for help. I also overcame not knowing what to do by watching a video.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the plot . The reason why I would change it is because I think I can do something better. I would also change the voice over and add more photos.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the "Digital multimedia" CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Videographer/Editor.
