Reflection
Using screw drivers, two Chromebook, my tablet and my computer, I fixed a broken Chromebook to a working Chromebook. I did this because I thought it would be a fun project to do. It also was something new and I have never done something like this.
During this process, I learned how to get threaded screws out. I was able to get them out by using plyers to pull them out. I also learn on how to take out the battery and I was able to do it by having Rene help and show me. Which helped when I had to take out and put in the new battery.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I was able to set a goal to fix the computer and I achieved it. I also could understand why the Chromebook wasn't working.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not having a good charger. I was able to do it by bending so of the metal back into place. Also I was able to get it to charge by holding it into place while it turned on.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the Chromebook I fixed. The reason why I would change it is because there wasn't really much of a challenge and it was just and easy fix. I would also change the device I fixed the reason is, is because i could've done a harder device to fix..
