8P6- Laser cutter P2

Using, Tinkercad I created a dirtbike woth 2024 because I really like dirtibikes. Also I did a Dirt bike because I wanted to see how well I can do by making a dirtbike with LP. Turns out not so well as we intended it to be.

During this process, I learned how to engrave a dirt bike into a piece of wood using a lasercutter. I did it by getting a svg and sending it to my teacher. In conclusion I learned how to engrave a dirt bike into a piece of wood using a lasercutter.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because me and LP made it and didn't find it from the web or internet. Also it ties to that because it isn't copyrighted like a lot of other things. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to lazercut the dirt bike. I was able to do it by asking LP and we found out how to send it and lazercut it . Another thing was sending it and having them be layered. we figured it out by looking it up on google.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the was the dirtbike looks. The reason why I would change it is becausethink it looks a little funky but that's okay. Another thing I'd change is that there's only one bar in the front and change it to two.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in construction because in some construction they use laser cutters. One example in when construction workers need to cut a sheet a metal they'll use a laser cutter. In conclusion my project connects to careers in construction.
